A surprising newcomer... has arrived with this combination cable consisting of a CAT.5e- and a DMX-cable in connection with an insulated power cable.
Originally intended as a network cable the MONOCAT is increasingly popular for event technologies. The CAT.5e can also be "misused" as a DMX-control cable, which also functions perfectly for lengths of almost 328 ft, thanks to the 100 Ohm configuration.
We have made the MONOCAT fit for the road with a lot of zest and given it a jacket made of S-PVC, resistant to notching and cold temperatures.
Please note: If the MONOCAT is only used as an LAN-cable a length of 164 ft (according to the CAT5-protocol for flexible patch cables) should not be exceeded.
THE ADVANTAGES:
