A little stiffer it may well be... but just as reasonably priced. That is exactly what is expected of a modulation cable made of solid wiring. Based on the simple construction the LOGIC won't cost a lot, but will fulfill all important criteria required for fixed installation: The Multipair cable LOGIC guarantees incredibly good electrical data (capacity wire/wire 13.7pF/ft), excellent overall shielding (copper braiding + aluminum foil), a halogen-free and flame-retardant sleeve in conformance with the highest fire protection class (FRNC-IEC60332.3, Test Type C), and individually insulated and numbered wire pairs.
The advantage of a solid wire cable is that very good damping values and a low capacity may be achieved with relatively simple means, which is very important for the long running distance of these cables.
Please observe that these types of cables are not suitable for mobile application.
