Sommer Silicon cable
Silcoflex

A thick coat... protects the inner life from outer influences. Here a watertight silicon-jacket, resistant to temperatures (-76 °F...+356 °F), protects the wires from short circuiting, especially during long uses with high temperature differences.
The drip-resistant insulation consists of silicon rubber and is also resistant to oil, alcohol, and grease, as well as diluted acids, solutions, oxygen, and ozone. The rubber jacket is highly flexible and ensures bending cycles up to .591 inch. The fine copper stranding is tin-plated and constructed in compliance with VDE0295, Class 5.
THE ADVANTAGES:
- Highly consistent temperature due to silicone-jacket and the insulation
- Excellent protection against short circuiting under extreme weather conditions
- High flexibility up to a bending radius of .591 inch
THE APPLICATION:
- Load and lighting technology for outdoors
- Heated vicinity around machines, foundries, mills, etc.
- Also suitable for cold areas outdoors to -76 °F
