Adam Main Monitors: S5A MK2
The S5 and S5A MK2 monitors transport the fundamental virtues of the A.R.T.technology and the HexaCone ® woofers to much higher SPL regions. As the diaphragm areas involved are considerably enlarged an outstandingly impressive combination of natural sound and high dynamics is achieved. Two 11” HexaCone® woofers, a 5” HexaCone® midrange unit, an A.R.T. midrange and tweeter are capable of filling large control rooms with breathtaking realism and stunning dynamic peaks. A front panel carries variable controls for input sensitivity, level controls for tweeter and midrange amplifiers as well as ±6 dB shelving filters on both ends of the frequency spectrum.

Adam Main Monitors: S5VA MK2
The S5VA MK2 is a four - way vertically oriented studio monitor incorporating ADAM's proprietary Accelerated Ribbon Technology (A.R.T.) folded ribbon tweeter and midrange units, which provide an amazingly life-like and detailed image. It houses both 9“ and 12.5” Hexacone® woofers consisting of a honeycomb core coated with Kevlar on both sides, allowing for extremely deep and tight bass response. Both of the ART folded ribbon drivers and the smaller woofer are each driven by 150 W ICE Power amplifiers, a corresponding 500 W unit powers the bigger woofer.
The S5VA MK2 was designed to be used as either a midfield or main monitor in the most demanding professional recording, mixing, and surround studios and applications

Adam Main Monitors: S6A MK2
The ADAM S6A MK2 is a real milestone in the history of active main monitors. It combines numerous innovations with great flexibility in compensating for different room acoustics, butforemost it delivers a stunning overall realism in sound reproduction that we consider to be unsurpassed. The woofers and woofer-midrange units carry a HexaCone ® diaphragm, a honeycomb structure made of Nomex, coated with Kevlar on both sides, making them lighter and stiffer than possible with classical materials. All drivers are mounted on a 25 mm Aluminum honeycomb plate, that leads to a very close connection between cabinet and drive unit. As a result we obtain a much better impulse coupling that audibly improves the clarity and precision of the reproduction. A rich choice of controls influence the characteristics of the built in ICE Power pwm amplifiers. Besides level controls and shelve filters you find three fully parametric EQs that enable you to compensate for standing waves phenomena in the control room. The S6A MK2certainly is the best monitor ADAM has ever made, and it is certainly one of the best monitors built by anybody.
