The LightViper product line, a revolutionary, lightweight, digital fiber optic audio snake, is now used in a wide variety of applications such as live broadcast applications, fixed installations, remote recording, and concert sound production. |
DMX4Features: 4 Universes of lighting control A pair of DMX4 units will allow you to send 4 universes of DMX lighting control down the same fiber as the audio returns on any of the LightViper digital snake systems. You can also accommodate Yamaha head amp control and 3 universes of DMX lighting control. The DMX4 system is comprised of 2 units – the DMX4i (input box) and DMX4o (output box). Both units derive power from the LightViper digital snake system through the RJ45 connection. There are 4 3-pin XLR connectors and 4 5-pin XLR connectors on each unit which handle the input and output of the DMX data on each end. The 5-pin connectors are for convenience as this is a one way system, sending DMX control from FOH to the Stage ONE WAY. The DMX4i and DMX4o connect to the associated LightViper digital snake system via RJ45 jacks on the DMX units connecting to the RJ45 “control” connector on the LightViper snake system. |
