Proprietary electronic processing has been an integral element of every NEXO sound reinforcement system for over a decade. NEXO engineers realized long ago that intelligent real-time management of critical operating parameters could deliver the same kind of performance benefits to the loudspeaker system that computer control has brought to the automobile drive train.
NEXO TDcontrollers provide crossover, sensed amplifier control and system alignment acoustically matched to each component in NEXO PS, Alpha, AlphaE and GEO systems.
The NX242’s uses complex digital software algorithms to combine this calibrated data with sensed voltage and current measurements, precisely controlling the temperature and displacement of each driver. This ensures that all NEXO systems deliver optimum sonic performance.
PS Series TDcontrollers and PSAMPs deliver the same kind of Active Fullrange Processing using sophisticated, precision-calibrated analog circuitry. This permits increased sound pressure and operational reliability while allowing the operator maximum flexibility in configuring the system.

The NX242 Digital TDcontroller is a proprietary advanced digital processor that allows NEXO loudspeaker systems to achieve exceptional performance and reliability. The NX242 provides crossover, sensed-amplifier control and system alignment acoustically matched to each NEXO GEO, PS and ALPHA component. NX242’s complex software algorithms combine this calibrated data with sensed voltage and current measurements to precisely control each driver's temperature and displacement, ensuring all NEXO systems deliver optimum sonic performance.

NXAMP Powered Digital TDcontrollers - Power & Control
The primary objective of the strategic alliance created between NEXO and Yamaha in 2005 was to create products that would profoundly elevate system solutions in the sound reinforcement industry. NEXO was seeking a solution that would provide full optimisation and performance of its speaker systems.
Through the combination of NEXO’s renowned expertise in producing top-of-the-line sound reinforcement products and Yamaha’s internationally acclaimed professional audio division, two years of collaborative research using the latest-generation development and research tools have yielded a major breakthrough in high-powered amplification for both fixed and mobile applications.
The NXAMP 4X1 and 4X4 Powered TDControllers are based on an innovative design that will provide the full integration of speaker and amplifier control with output capacities that will allow end users a cost-effective solution.
The innovative control structure implemented into the NXAMP is via the latest generation of NEXO’s TDcontrollers. This full integration of control will provide a safety base and real-time performance that is the first of its kind, having all the parameters controlled by the DSP. This real-time control will offer end users the ability to manage the voltage/current/temperature sense lines from the amplifier's output, protecting both the amplifier and its power supply in real time, while simultaneously offering all control parameters required for the speakers.

NXtension-CAI - NX241 & NX242 Digital TDcontroller Remote Control
The NXtension-CAI Expander Board improves NX241 & NX242 Digital TDcontroller processing capacities, and adds remote control functions via the CAMCO EtherCAI Network.
Additional DSP & Memory Resources
Thanks to its additional DSP chip and Flash memory the NXtension Expander Board actually doubles the capacity of the NEXO NX241 & NX242 Digital TDcontroller.
The CAI interface support CAMCO CAI protocole for amplifier & TDcontroller monitoring.

NXES104 EtherSound Card
New generation EtherSound card for NXAMPS 4x1 and 4x4 Powered TDcontrollers
The rear panel expansion slot of the NXAMPS 4x1 and 4x4 Powered TDcontrollers allow for the easy addition of NEXO's new generation EtherSound card, the NXES104.
This new generation of EtherSound hardware offers device-to-device communication and powerful new functions including: ring topology and a third remote control port that will allow a computer to be connected anywhere in the chain when both EtherSound ports are already being utilized.
