15" Subwoofer System
Radian's RC Series subwoofer systems are designed specifically for permanent sound system installations. The RCS-115, single 15, and RCS-215, a dual 15, are compact systems designed to provide high SPL live and playback applications.
Both the RCS-115 and RCS-215 feature a composite ribbed cone reinforced with Kevlar®. The 4 voice coil is edgewound aluminum for better transient response, but advanced adhesives give it the power handling capacity of more conventional copper voice coils. The RCS-115 and RCS-215 also feature an extended low-frequency response capable of genuine 124- 127 dB SPL, from 40 Hz to 500 Hz or 35 Hz to 500 Hz with 6 dB to spare for peak output.
Add this to a high-energy magnetic structure with a venturi cross section to increase efficient ventilation, and the result is a highly responsive subwoofer system that can deliver robust bass at high SPLs.
