DIGITALLY CONTROLLED INTEGRATED MULTI-ZONE MUSIC/PAGING SYSTEM

An elegant slim-line device contains all the functions required by a system for distributing different musical programmes in homes nd commercial premises. The flexibility and simplicity of RCF AMBIENTE make it possible to satisfy the needs of all those who want to listen to music in a commercial environmentor at home for multi-room sound systems. RCF AMBIENTE for domestic or commercial environments: homes, reception areas, medical surgeries, fitness centres, beauty salons, and banks, where the distribution of background and foreground music, along with a paging system here desired, adds value and comfort for those who live and work there.

RCF AMBIENTE is extremely easy to install: common CAT5 cables and RJ 45 connectors can be used. Remote controls RC62 can be installed into almost any 503 flush-mount box so that the original local country supports and cover-plates can be used.

Three different musical programmes and one for paging can be transmitted in five mono zones, or alternatively four zones, one of which is in stereo. It is also possible to extend the number of zones to ten using a simple connector to interlink two systems.

The system has five amplified 20 W / 4 ohm outputs, each also available as full-range or low-pass signal at line level on RCA connectors for driving external final power stages when the areas to be covered are particularly large. For each of the five zones, a direct auxiliary input is available for connecting sources such as CD players, wireless microphones, or mixers to be used exclusively for one zone/room.

The back-lit display and function keys make it possible to access all the menus for configuring and adjusting the system: Volume, Tone, Loudness, Output settings, VOX. The display also provides information by means of LED indicators.

The universal MIC-LINE input can be used for paging selectively or in general mode, with the possibility to have an acoustic signal precede the announcement.

The VOX function can be associated with one zone configuration to work without the need for pressing keys or closing contacts (e.g. from a suitable private telephone exchange).

Power outlet controlled by the system for switching the sound sources on/off by remote control.

For each zone, an RJ 45 connector enables the connection of remote controls via CAT5 cable for volume control, changing the musical programme, and activating the direct input or switching off the sources.

One music source input can be given priority over the other sources: when activated, this source automatically overrides the current ones being played in each zone. This facility is ideal for Automatic Announcement Systems or Jukebox Audio Priority for example.

A pre-announcement signal controlled by an intercom system, for example, can be sent to the active zones. Password Access is available should you wish to lock out various user functions once preset.
